As a food reviewer, I have been enchanted by the delightful range of pizzas offered at Pummarola. The menu boasts a variety of delectable options, including the classic Margherita pizza, priced at just €9.00, which features vibrant tomato, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil. For those with a penchant for indulgence, the Gor Cheese pizza at €15.50 combines an impressive medley of cheeses like gorgonzola and burrata, ensuring every bite is an explosion of flavor.
Patrons rave about the authenticity of the pizzas with many noting the wood-fired oven that brings a unique crispiness and texture to the dough. What truly sets Pummarola apart is the dedication to providing a value-driven experience. Reviews highlight the affordability of the dishes without compromising on taste or quality. A well-made margherita for only €9.00 is a steal, especially in an area where many eateries charge a premium for subpar food. This has positioned Pummarola as a hidden gem among tourists and locals alike—an oasis away from the tourist traps.

“ I threw down on a margherita pizza with spicy caprese salami and walnut pesto. Got Dayum y'all that was fire! Addicting flavor, I still want more. Amazing The server also let us try the pesto and the wine ahead of time before comitting. That was very nice. I will say the Negroni I got was super bitter, almost not drinkable. but I'm no expert alcoholic so I didn't know what to expect. That negative is wildly overshadowed by the pizza though. ”

“ Definitely a hidden treasure in the old town, amazing affordable pizzas served quickly with friendly staff. It was hard for me to find decent inexpensive food that wasn’t a tourist trap there are a lot of expensive restaurants in this area that really are not worth it. This may not be on a fancy high street however it is worth a visit! 6.90 for a margherita can’t complain! ”
